Doug Hetherington, founder and CEO of H2B, had seen healthcare deteriorate over the years under the pressures of the recession and the ACA, and he believed that a better system was possible if you cut away the barriers that kept providers, employers and patients from achieving their shared goal of high-quality, affordable healthcare.
Today, amid skyrocketing healthcare costs, Doug’s vision is more important than ever. H2B works with local health systems, providers and employers to prove that there is a better alternative to the traditional health plan model.
The H2B Difference
Many employers, patients and providers have reached the same conclusion – the traditional healthcare model isn’t benefiting them. Every year, rising prices and administrative burdens create greater and greater barriers to care, and too many employers go with the least horrible plan because it seems like the only option.
