Trevor Baker, PT, DPT, GCS
Regional Program Manager
Trevor is passionate about ensuring the health of his fellow Idahoans. He is a healthcare innovator who tirelessly endeavors to bring accessible, affordable, high-value care to employers and employees.
As the Regional Program Manager for Health2Business (H2B), Trevor guides HR Executives and their leadership teams through the process of adopting cost-effective and sustainable health plans that feature direct contracts between local providers and health systems.
Pursuing his passion to help others, Trevor obtained his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from The University of Utah and completed went on to become one of the only Board-Certified Clinical Specialists in Geriatric Physical Therapy in the Mountain West Region. After years of work to attain his credentials, Trevor embarked on what he believed would be a long career in physical rehabilitation.
Through Trevor’s first-hand experience treating patients, he witnessed the pain, chaos, and inadequacies of our healthcare system. The challenges continued to mount, both on the patient side and from his own provider side, where he was often placed in the difficult position of telling patients the price of healthcare given the insurance coverage they had and had no desire to be a collections agent. This was not the way healthcare was designed to work!
Trevor joined the H2B team in 2020 when he realized that he could do more to fix the broken systematic issues on a larger scale. He has witnessed win-win-win partnerships among providers, employers and employees where affordable cost, meaningful engagements with providers, exceptional outcomes and adequate provider reimbursements are attained. He believes that providers contracting directly via open, transparent, employer-accessible contracts is the solution to replicating these successes. Removing and lowering the cost barriers (deductibles, copays, co-insurance, and “out of network” penalties) for employees will result in less fear of seeking care and better overall health.
As a provider, Trevor brings a critically important perspective and voice to the HR leaders, Benefit Advisors, and executives he assists. Compassionate, humble, and steadfast, Trevor’s servant heart wants the best possible option for all stakeholders.
Outside of the office, Trevor can be found at his home in Kimberly, ID, spending time with his family. He and his wife celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary last year. Trevor is a proud father of three young adventurous girls aged 8, 6, and 2, and also tends to spend countless hours at the dance studio as his girls pursue their passions.
